At Deals Amped E-Bike Store, we want every adventure seeker, urban commuter, and performance rider to be completely satisfied with their electric bike purchase. If you’re not 100% happy with your item, we’re here to help with our straightforward returns and exchanges process.
Our Return Policy
You may return most items within 15 days of receiving your order for a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it
- All original packaging and accessories must be included
- The item must be in its original, undamaged packaging
Non-Returnable Items
For safety and hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned:
- E-Bike Kits and Accessories that have been installed or used
- Helmets (for safety reasons once removed from packaging)
- Custom or special order items (including certain Aero components)
- Any item not in its original condition or showing signs of use
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
Step 1: Contact Our Team
Email our customer service team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Please include:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you wish to return or exchange
- Reason for return
- Whether you prefer a refund or exchange
Step 2: Wait for Approval
Our team will respond within 1-2 business days with:
- Return authorization (if approved)
- Return shipping instructions
- Any special packaging requirements (especially important for large items like 29-Inch or Fat Tire E-Bikes)
Step 3: Package and Ship
Once approved:
- Repackage the item securely in its original packaging
- Include all accessories, manuals, and parts
- Affix the return shipping label we provide
- Ship via the carrier specified in your instructions
Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in cases where we sent the wrong item or the item arrived damaged. For international returns (outside the US), customers are responsible for all customs duties and return shipping fees.
Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Refunds will be processed within 3-5 business days
- Your refund will be credited to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution
Note: Original shipping fees are non-refundable, and return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund for free shipping orders under $50.
Exchanges
To exchange an item for a different size or model (such as switching from a 26-Inch to a 29-Inch e-bike):
- Follow the standard return process above
- Clearly indicate you want an exchange and specify the replacement item
- Once we receive your return, we’ll ship the replacement item
- You’ll be responsible for any price difference plus shipping costs for the new item
Damaged or Defective Items
If your electric bike or component (such as derailleurs or handlebars) arrives damaged or defective:
- Contact us immediately at [email protected]
- Include photos of the damage or defect
- We’ll arrange for a replacement or repair at no cost to you
